Dental for less, Looking for some home remedies to whiten teeth
I’ve had yellow teeth now fro many years and I really dislike how they look. I brush and floss my teeth regularly. I go to the dentist twice a year and have no cavities. My teeth are just yellow. I do not have the money to waste on whitening treatment done by the dentist since my dental insurance will not cover for it. Any low cost ideas or home remedies that I can try to get a whiter smile?

There is all kinds of other low cost whiten treatments you can do depending on how much you want to spend.
Cheap way is to start bushing your teeth with whiten toothpaste. Then brush more then just twice a day maybe at least three times a day. You will whiten your teeth but it takes time before you may notice any difference.
If you want faster results then by whiten strips. They too also work well but can make your teeth a little sensitive at first.

In order to really whiten your teeth and keep them white you need to stop doing whatever you are doing to stain them up in the first place.
Unless you have naturally yellow teeth your teeth will not get yellow unless you are not taken care of them in the first place. Brush longer and better. Make sure you are brushing at least two times a day. More often if you are eating and drinking foods that can stain your teeth such as coffee or tea.
I guessing you do not smoke because otherwise why even bother whitening your teeth unless you quit smoking altogether.

I brushed with baking soda for two weeks and it really help to whiten my teeth. Baking soda is very cheap so it may be worth it for you to try.
