Really rotten teeth on an adult
Is there any reason for an adult 24 year old to have really bad teeth to the point that you can see the brown and black spots on them and all her teeth are really yellow. I asking because I have to work with someone like that and I think it is really gross. I am not sure why the bosses do not say anything since we have to work with so many people (we are in sales)
I am just thinking can someone teeth look like that and it not be about them not caring enough to brush there teeth? I do not get it. She a full timer so she get dental care though our job. I want to tell her to brush her darn teeth but it is not my place. I am at the point though of saying that I do not want to work with her and that I want to work a different department in the store so I do not have to see it any more.

I so know what you are going though. I use to work at a fast food place. The manager had this one employee that I swear had to have the worse teeth in the world.
She would have spittle that you can see from her teeth they were so bad and broke and brown. YUCK to say the least. The thing was they had taking orders because it was too gross to have her handing food.
She worked there for years and although she was not special I think people though she was so no one would say anything to her about her oral care.
Really I not sure how much a boss can say about something like that. Though I agree it is no way to make a good first impression.

Well there is nothing you can do about it and there are times when bad teeth can be because of an illness, medication that the person may need to take, disease, etc.. Unless you know the facts I would not judge.
My mom has always had bad teeth due to her being a diabetic. She would hate to smile and always felt bad because she was afraid of what people may think of her teeth.
This was not her fault and there was not much she could do to stop the decay of her teeth. She had to finally get them all pulled so she could have dentures but this was very costly and even with dental insurance it still took her a long time to save up enough to have the dental care.
I am not saying this is the case for the person you are talking about but the fact is you do not know and it is rude to assume she does not take brush her teeth and just lets them get that way.

Well I have a family member that I know for a fact does not brush their teeth but maybe once a week. When I asked him why he would always just say he forgot or he does not have the time.
The way I see it is he is just to lazy to care about himself. He wants people to always feel sorry for him and his teeth are just another way to go about it. He will sit and cry to you how his teeth hurt and he can not get dental care because he has no money etc and so on but he just wants people to pat him on the back and take care of him.
I use to in the beginning feel bad for him until I woke up and realized that is all he wants. Now I just avoid him when I can and if I can not I just say oh well guess that life.
If working with her bugs you so much try to change your shifts. Otherwise just leave her be. Really she not effecting your life so you should just get over it .
