Dental for Less – How much does a Panoramic X-ray Cost

I am looking for dental insurance and I would like to know if dental insurance coverage’s for a Panoramic X-ray too. If not how much does having a Panoramic X-ray cost? I would like to see the dentist as soon as I can get a plan together. I was told a while back ago that I should have a panoramic X-ray so that is why I am wondering about the cost of having one done?

Reply: Most insurance plans cover free to no cost for your bite-wing x-rays. There are a few that do offer benefits for panoramic X-rays but it would really depend on the plan. Therefore you will need to review the benefits each plan has to offer carefully. However cost range for panoramic x-rays can range around $100 to $250.
