Dental for less, Looking for a low cost dental plan for my daughter
My daughter is 23 and will be getting drop from my current dental plan do to her age. Since I get my dental with my job I need to find a plan just for her. I am still willing to pay for her dental insurance as long as she is in school.
However, I would still like a low cost plan. Something that offer good over all dental coverages. She does not need any major dental work but I want her to still be able to see the dentist on a regular bases. What can you suggest.

If you daughter only needs to have her basic dental care and you want a plan that is low in it cost. Then I suggest getting either a dental HMO insurance or a dental discount plan.
Both will normally offer a low monthly plan cost. I like HMOs dental insurance so I would look in that direction first but dental discount plans do work well to depending on what you want.

On thing that may need to be address when looking for a dental insurance plan is if you are trying to stay with a dentist. If so that you would need to know what dental plan they are a provider of.
Hopefully the dental office in question will take an dental HMO or dental discount plan. Because if not PPOs are normally more expensive. Though low cost means different things to different people. What may be low cost to you may still be too much for someone else. Figure out before you start shopping out dental insurance as to how much you are willing to spend.
That way you are not limiting yourself. You may feel that a PPOs are not to costly for you. I would not rule them out, just know what you are willing to spend.
