New York Insurance dental plan for an individual

I am 40 with so far good teeth though it as been a while since I have last seen a dentist who told me this.   I do not have dental benefits though my employment only my medical is taken care of.  I would like to see a dentist just to have a check up but calling around I found out real quick it may be best for me to get some dental insurance in place.  

I am a little new to this so I would like some advise.  Looking for a plan that would not have waiting periods just in case I do  need more then a check up and cleaning. What would be the best dental plan for that?

    Well we do offer dental insurance in your state but they do have waitng periods for basic and major dental care services.

    So if you are looking for a dental plan that has no waiting periods you may want to review our dental discount plan option. They are a good low cost dental plan option and they do not have any waiting periods or yearly dollar max limitiations.

    From what you wrote a dental discount plan would seem to fit your current dental needs the best.
