What Individual dental insurance plan the best Golden West or Pacificare

Last year I graduated college and I am no longer on my parents dental insurance.  I have a full time job now but it only offers Medical not dental.  I am in need of some dental insurance and have been reviewing your dental plans.    I think I got it down to two plans and I just like to know which one is the best Golden West  or Pacificare dental plan.  Can you offer me some more information that may help me choose one over the other.

    Both dental plans are really good and is just a matter of choice. If you are reviewing the Golden West 200 which is the closest plan to the Pacificare 160 there are a few differences

    Pacificare does not have any waiting periods for any of the covered dental services. However they do not offer any coverage for specialist so that is something to keep in mind

    Golden West 200 Has a six month waiting period for crown, bridges, partials, Dentures, when reviewing the plan coverage any dental service listed with a * has the six month waiting period. However Golden West 200 does have some coverages for Specialist.

    Another deciding factor beside coverage could be the dentist in the plan network. On both plans you will need to pick a dentist that is listed in the plan network of providers. There is no outside network coverage.

    So make sure you have a dentist that will work for you. It is a good Idea to call the dentist to confirm that they take the plan and to ask any other questions you may have in choosing the best dental office for yourself.
