Dental for less, Not sure if I need braces.
My teeth are yellowish and my eye teeth are very pointy and slightly crooked. Also about a year ago I lost a tooth which I did not really mind since it had a black spot on it. The thing is now I have a gap that is in the back of my mouth.
My gums are red and do bleed a little when I brush so I am not sure if getting braces now would be a good idea. I am also not sure if I need to have braces. Would getting braces help?

I am going to say based on what you stated you may have other dental needs to take care of first before getting braces.
Sounds like you may have some gum issues and possible teeth issues. Teeth should not just fall out and if they are you need to see a dentist.

I agree you should see a dentist about your oral health needs. I would be very upset if I lost my tooth. If you have not seen a dentist who know what else may be going on.
Bleading gum is a sign of gingivitis so is teeth falling out. Please see a dentist. Sure braces may fix the other issues you talked about but you need to make sure the teeth you still have are in good enough shape for braces.

It sound like you do not have good oral hygiene. You need to brush your teeth twice a day at least and floss daily.
Braces will not help yellow teeth get whiter, nor will they stop other teeth from falling out. Having braces would correct the crooked teeth and the gap, however many orthodontic dentist will not put braces on bad teeth.
So if you have cavities or gingivitis going on you may need to take care of those issues frist.
