Dental Discount Plans for California and Arizona

Dental Discount Plans for California and Arizona:  Right now I do live part time in Arizona and part time in California.  I am in both state often but I guess I am mostly in California since when I in Arizona I am staying with my parents.

I would like to get a dental plan that will offer dental benefits in both states.  That way I do not have to worry about have a dentist issue come up in one state but not being able to use it when I need to.

The best dental plans that will address your two state dental needs would be a dental discount plan like Careington or the Dental Choice Plus plans.

Both of these plans are offer in California and Arizona. As long as the plan you are reviewing have providers in the area you are in you can use it in any state. Please note the fee schedules are subject to change depending on the state you are using it in but what you want can be done with these types of plans.

Please be careful when reveiwing dental insurance plans. Many of them are not to be use in states that they are not writen in.

Such as in California we have Pacificare, GoldenWest and Delta Dental HMO that are only for California and will not show in Arizona.

Also you may get dental insurance that lets you choose your own dentist but that same plan must be available in both state you want to use it, and even then you need to be careful to make sure it will cover you like you want it too.

I agree with the frist reply if you have dentist in the network of one of our dental discount plans in both area you are in they would be the better choice to get.

If you live in California and only visit your parentis in Arizon you should just get dental insurance for yourself in California. You can get a good affordable dental plan in CA and just come back into CA if you have any dental issues that need to be address.

I know where you are coming from but I had dental insurance that I got in CA and when I went to visit a friend of mine in Texas I broke a tooth. My plan did let me see a dentist in TX but the coverages I got was nothing compared to if I just waited until I got back to CA.
