How long do you need to keep a monthly dental plan.
I have not been to a dentist for a long time and I know I have a few cavities and I many even have to have a tooth pulled. I have been advise not to start any dental work until I get a dental insurance plan in place or I will no longer be covered for the dental work I need. So I would like some help since I need a dental insurance plan that can start right away. Thanks.

You would want to review HMO dental insurance plans. HMO dental insurance plans normally do not have waiting periods for their coverages. You need to read each plan to confirm but that would be the direction I would look in if I did not get dental from my job.

That is true you do not want to start dental work before getting dental insurance in place because normally then they will not cover for work in progress.
Look for either an HMO dental insurance if you want insurance or a dental discount plan would be good too. Both do not normally have waiting periods and both are low cost plans that will save you money off your dental services.

I would get a dental discount plan only because it sounds like you really need something that starts right away. Dental discount plans start within then next business day of placing your on line order.
I note this web site has a few dental discount plans as well as insurance in my state. Try seeing what you have available just by entering in your zip code in the quote box above will pull up the dental plans for your review.
