Dental care, mouth still numb after having a crown put onThree hours ago I went to a dentist to have my tooth crowned because I cracked it when I was eating. Now I am home. I am not in any pain but my mouth and part of my tongue is still numb. I was told by the dentist that the numbness should wear off in about three hours but it has not.
