My tooth started hurtingMy tooth and gum and my whole upper left side of face kinda hurts. I do not see any dental caries on the tooth, it looks healthy. Could my tooth’s nerve be damaged or something? Answer: Well since your face is hurts to it could also be a sinus issue. However, pain is their to let you know something is wrong. Go to a dentist and have the tooth look at. Just because you can not see with your eyes any tooth decay does not mean it is not there.
