Cigna Dental Insurance Company vs Delta Dental Insurance.

I receive dental benefits though work but it is a joke of a plan.  My job pays for it so it is free.  However, I do not use it.  I looking for dental insurance that I can get as an individual and seen Cigna and Delta dental and not sure which would really be the better one to get.  I like these two plan because I hear of both companies and I do not want to get some plan I never heard of before.  How do I go about comparing them to see which would be the better of the two?
