Working Single Mom tying to find a Low Cost Dental Insurance plan in California

I live in California and I am a single mom of one five year old.  I work part time during the day while my son is in day care for a few hours.  I have little extra money but that always goes to my sons care. I do not have dental insurance though my son is cover under his fathers dental plan he has though work.   I would like to get an affordable dental plan.  It does not have to be great just something so I can go to the dentist for my twice a year check ups.
