Virginia Individual Dental Insurance Coverages for a Root Canal on Molar.  About a year ago I was told by a dentist when I went in for  cleaning that I would need to have a root canal done on one of my back molars.   At the time I really could not afford to have it done so I put it off.

Now I am working full time but still have no dental benefits.  I would like to get a dental insurance plan that will over me coverage on a root canal right away.  I am starting to have more problems with that tooth so I know I can not continue putting it off.  What can you suggest?

    Although we do offer dental insurance in Virginia the dental insurance plan we offer would have long term waiting periods for a root canal and a crown to be done.

    Which would not help your current dental need right away. I would suggest reviewing our dental discount plan options for your current root canal and crown need.

    On any of our dental discount plans they start within the next business day of your online enrollment and they do not have any waiting periods. That lets you get the dental discount savings for your root canal and crown right away.

    I would get a dental discount plan for your current dental issue so you can get the saving for the dental work you need now. Then afterwood look into any of the dental insurance options we offer for your long term dental care.
