Insurance Dental plan for Washington DC

I am looking for dental insurance in my area of Washington DC.  I have a family of three my wife and son who is six.  I just did  a job change and although it was a much better move for me to make the only down fall was that I would not be getting dental insurance.

I bought stuff on line before but never insurance so I am not sure about the process and what I should be looking for when reviewing dental insurance plans.
