Dental Insurance, Monthly payment plans.

When you buy dental insurance on the monthly payment plan why is it that they can not send you out a billing notice.  All I have seen are monthly direct debit.  What do people that do not have a checking or credit card account do?

I have a checking account,  but I live on a really fixed income that I do not want money being drafted out.  I want to write a check. I do not have credit cards they are just trouble.  This is a pain since I would like to have dental insurance.

    Most dental insurance plans with a monthly option will let you pay in full. That way it is only the one time debit a year. Many companies are going direct debit not just dental insurance.

    Also if you are buy a plan on line that is almost to be expected. If you can not pay in full try seeing if you have any local insurance agents that can sell you a dental plan where you can mail out a billing.
