Understanding Dental Insurance Coverages.
So I was looking at your HMO dental insurance plans and I have a question. I want a plan that will give me free cleaning which the one I was looking at said it did. However, when it says you can have two dental cleaning with in a 12 month period. What about after the first 12 months?
If I had a cleaning at the end of my policy period do I have to wait another 12 before I get two more free cleaning?? I am little confussed on this. Don’t I need to have two cleaning a year every year?

No normally went a plan states you can have two cleaning a year this get broken down to one every six months. So if you had your second cleaning at the end of your policy term your next cleaning would be in another six months.

My HMO is one cleaning every six months. It does not matter when I have the cleaning only the I can not have another free cleaning for another six months.
Which is find since normally you only need to have two cleaning a year, unless you have other teeth issues going on where a dentist may advise you to have additional cleanings.
