Dental Braces, How do you clean a dirty retainer
So I know I am to wear my retainer all the time but I the retainer out and put in on my dresser and forgot it for about two weeks. Now when I just saw it I notice dust and dirt got on my retainer. How do I clean my retainer. Before it was always in my mouth so I just would brush it and use my mouthwash while it was in. I do not want to put a dirty retainer in my mouth to clean it. What do I use to get the dirt off first?

This is simple all you have to do is get a toothbrush and paste and brush your retainer very well with warm water. After words rinse and soak in mouthwash for five or ten minutes. You should be good to put it back in your mouth after doing that

Just gently clean your retainer with warm water and some mouthwash to help kill any germs. You should do this every day whether or not you keep your retainer in your mouth.
